For my first vacation, I went to Greece and Italy when I was 25. It was truly the best thing I have ever paid for, and worth every penny.
I have family in Rome, and I love Italy with all my heart. I value travel and meeting new people. I even love to travel to random places in the US! Anytime I can experience a new city or town, I'm a happy camper.
I feel as though I've been destined to be a teacher my whole life. Education has gotten me to where I am today, and I place a high value on it.
I graduated from Central Valley HS in 2003 and the Universtiy of Washington in 2007. I have recently completed my Masters in Education from Eastern Washington University in August, 2013. I consider myself a lifelong learner and plan to continue my education whenever and wherever possible.
My goal is to teach you life skills as well as English skills. I know the two are not the most important, but together they can build a strong set of skills that will help you in your endeavors following high school. I strive to teach you HOW to think, not WHAT to think.
I have developed strong friendships throughout college and my years following. I think that surrounding yourself with people who lift you higher is extremely important. I am so lucky to have the friends I do!
Because of extensive traveling, I have friends all over the United States and Europe. I cannot wait to extend my traveling even further to visit them!
My family is the most important thing to me! I grew up with two loving parents and a younger sister, who is a Titan herself! I feel very lucky to have had such a wonderful support system growing up.
I have Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins all over the country, and some even abroad. I love my Italian heritage; pasta is one of my main food groups!
One of my favorite family memories is when my dad and sister had a food fight at the dinner table...well, needless to say, we still talk about that dinner!
